Day 17: October 5th, 2018
8:30 a.m. I woke up a little late (5:15 a.m.). Since I was late for #thefives, I seriously contemplated just staying in bed for another hour, but I decided I should just get up and get busy for the day.
As I was doing my prayer time + reading/workbook time + bible study, I had several cravings. I gave in, and I smoked 5 cigarettes during those 3 hours. It looks like today is going to be a hard day.
Anyway, I just thought I would get this blog post started early today so I can update y’all throughout the day. Today is starting off good!
6:00 p.m. Today ended up being harder than I thought it would be. I made quite a few products, but I have now smoked 12 cigarettes. 2 over my goal amount. I think I need to rewrite a goals page. Maybe I’m pushing myself too hard? Who knows.
All I know is that I’m fixing to head over to my brother’s house for supper, so I made 4 cigarettes to bring with me and I’m pretty sure I’ll smoke them as I enjoy a beer or two.
11:28 a.m. (Saturday, October 6th) I ended up bumming a few cigarettes from friends last night while I was drinking a few too many beers. So I do believe I ended up smoking 19 – 20 cigarettes yesterday. I’m not happy about that at all. I just need to steer clear of beer, that’s for sure. Anyway, today is a new day, so I’ll get another blog post going.
