Day 6 of my Journey to Quit Smoking 💚
Day 6: September 24th, 2018
10:40 a.m. I woke up not too long ago. I guess my body needed a little more sleep than usual. It’s time to check my messages, Facebook page, and Facebook profile. I smoked 1 cigarette while waiting on my coffee.
11:22 a.m. I smoked 2 more cigarettes while drinking my coffee. I am going to write down all of the tips + tricks my family and friends have recommended on social media today. I am also going to jot down a few ideas I wrote on my other blog posts. Hopefully, if I have all of these things in one place (my journal), I can figure out a plan that will help me. Anyway, I’ll write more later. I’m already behind schedule since I woke up late, so I better get off of here and get busy.
2:21 p.m. I’m smoking another cigarette (#7). Stressed out. I have a very hard headed 17 year old son who seems to think that he knows more than momma and daddy. Anyway, I ended up smoking a total of 6 cigarettes earlier, while I was drinking my coffee and jotting down notes. Today is hard. Mondays suck. That is all, for now.
P.S. I need to always remember to look for the good things in each day. So, here are some of the good things that have happened today! My daughters have already completed their bible + language arts + reading lessons for the entire week! In one day! It looks like they may complete two levels this year!
P.S.S. We do not have “grade levels” in our homeschool, just levels of curriculum…A, B, C, D, E, etc.
9:32 p.m. I have now smoked 14 cigarettes. Most were while I was drinking coffee this morning and writing in my journal. The others were a combo of cravings + stress. Today was a crazy day, definitely a typical Monday, but it got better as the sun set. I think I’ll turn in early tonight, after I create my video for the day.
