Parent’s Prayer

Children truly are a gift from God.

They are all so unique and different. Each one has his or her own little personality. And I feel that each and every child deserves their own unique prayer from their parents.

I pray that my son finds a good, strong Christian wife. I pray that he absorbs the knowledge he learns each day. I pray for him to learn to control his temper and for God to bless him with patience and a forgiving heart. I pray that he grows up to be a good, strong, compassionate Christian man and (someday) daddy. I pray for him to find happiness in whatever profession he chooses. I pray that he listens and follows God’s will in his life.

I pray that my oldest daughter finds a good, strong Christian husband. I pray that she absorbs the knowledge she learns each day. I pray for her to control her temper. I pray that she grows up to be a good, strong Christian woman and (someday) momma. I thank God for blessing her with patience, compassion and a forgiving heart. I pray that she finds happiness in whatever profession she chooses, even if she is a stay at home momma. I pray that she listens and follows God’s will in her life.

I pray for my youngest daughter to find a good, strong Christian husband. I pray that she absorbs the knowledge she learns each day. I pray that she grows up to be a good, strong Christian woman and (someday) momma. I thank God for blessing her with a mild temper, patience, compassion and a forgiving heart. I pray that she finds happiness in whatever profession she chooses, even if she is a stay at home momma. I pray that she listens and follows God’s will in her life.

These are just bits & pieces of the prayers I say for my children. They are really quite long, to be honest, so I figured I would just share a bit.

I believe that it is very important to pray for your children daily. I also believe it’s very important to pray for yourself & your spouse to be the parents God wants you to be.

~God bless you & yours~
